Cape Henry Collegiate School (also known as Cape Henry or CHC) is a well regarded independent coeducational school in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Cape Henry was founded in 1924 by Mrs. R.C. Everett (originally known as the Everett School) and enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Cape Henry has an enrollment of over 1,000 students; the current headmaster is Dr. John P. Lewis. Cape Henry has a Science and Technology center that allows students to get up close and personal with science. Also, Cape Henry is one of the leading Virginia Beach schools. Cape Henry has made news headlines for having a seismograph in its Science and Technology center that picked up a earthquake in Iran about a couple of days ago.
