Carey Jason-Phillip Hart (born July 17, 1975) is a Freestyle Motocross SX/SM Rider/Business Owner/SX/MX Team Owner/Celebrity Personality.
Biography
Early Years
Carey Hart was born in Seal Beach, California and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. His father bought him his first motocross bike when he was only four years old in hopes of spending some quality time with his son. However, what had originally started as a father and son pastime quickly turned into Carey’s passion. By the time he entered his first local race as an amateur, he was hooked. When the time came for his high school graduation Carey Hart was a professional Motocross rider, racing AMA Supercross circuit. Today Hart is one of the most recognized names in all of freestyle Motocross.
His younger brother, Anthony Hart age 21, died on August 9, 2008 from head injuries suffered during a motorcycle crash during a practice run at Stafford Motor Speedway. He was declared dead at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut.
Career
Carey grew bored with Supercross and started riding with a group of guys who were interested in a more creative and expressive form of Motocross. In 1998, the Freestyle motocross movement was born with Carey leading the way. From the sport’s inception, Carey has been one of the most innovative riders in the sport.
He is the inventor of the Hart Attack, and at the 2000 Gravity Games Carey etched his name in the record books as the first rider ever to attempt a back flip in a motorcycle competition. Although he crashed on the landing, the backflip catapulted Carey, and Freestyle Motocross as a whole, to an entirely new level. The stunt got the world’s attention; it was even featured on Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Carey has traveled the globe on a quest to put freestyle Motocross on the map. Along the way he has jumped the trailer park in Kid Rock’s video “Bawitdaba” and saw his dream to play bass with the band Pennywise come true on the 2000 Australian Warped Tour. His popularity has helped increase exposure for the sport of Motocross.
He has been featured in nationwide ad campaigns for Ford and Mountain Dew as well as in such print publications as Paper Magazine, Teen People, EXPN The Magazine, Rolling Stone, and has graced the covers of numerous Motocross magazines. Carey has also starred on The Late Show with David Letterman, appeared on The Today Show and has starred in ESPN/Touchstone Pictures’ IMAX film, Ultimate X and has cameo appearances in Columbia Pictures’ XXX and Touchstone Pictures’ Charlie’s Angels II, P!nk's Just Like A Pill Video, Pink's So What video, & Carey was cast in the VH1 reality show The Surreal Life, and he even played bass with Pennywise on the 2001 Warped Tour
Life After Freestyle
In 2004 Carey’s passion for tattoos turned into a business venture. Teaming up with fellow entrepreneur, John Huntington, Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company opened their doors in the prestigious Palms Casino, Las Vegas. This move lead to another TV opportunity for Carey when the A&E network decided to follow him and the workings of the shop in their own reality show called INKED.
Since then, three more Hart and Huntington Tattoo shops have opened: Honolulu, Cabo San Lucas and Orlando at Universal Citywalk. Carey also expanded into making a quality clothing line based on the designs of the talented artists that work at Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company. The line can be found at all of the shops as well as some major retailers.
Even with all of Carey’s business ventures, he still finds time to dedicate to his Supermototeam. There is no denying Carey’s dedication and passion. He has suffered his share of injuries attempting new tricks,Carey has broken over 63 bones in his body however like a cat with nine lives, he continues to bounce back and he does it all in the name of progression. The Las Vegas resident is determined to ride until he stops having fun.

Hart & Huntington was the masterplan of Carey Hart and John Huntington, starting with a tattoo shop situated in the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hart & Huntington was the first tattoo shop ever opened in a casino. In 2006, during the start-up of the company, Hart filmed a reality TV show for A&E called INKED, which followed the daily activities of the tattoo artists and the tattoos done for customers visiting the shop.
A few months after opening, John Huntington left the business and Carey now co-owns the company with tattoo artist Thomas Pendelton. The business now has shops in Las Vegas, Orlando, Cabo and Honolulu.
Wasted Space
Conceptualized by Carey Hart, Wasted Space represents the ultimate depiction of the decadent rock n’ roll lifestyle. The first anti-club of its kind, Wasted Space melds the high-end rock n’ roll culture with fashion, art and design creating a one of a kind atmosphere and nightlife experience. The goal of this night club is to allow its patrons to truly get up close and personal with rock legends as well as hot new bands before they break.Cory McCormack, Joel Madden, and Benji Madden are also partners in the production of this one of a kind club.
Marriage
Hart was once married to the singer Alecia (Pink) Moore.Hart met Pink in Las Vegas at the 2001 X Games.After four years of dating, Pink proposed to Hart in 2005 by pit board during one of his races in

Bianca Rajzman , a Rio de Janeiro born girl who lives in Australia. It is believed that Rajzman was in California for a photo shoot when she met Hart at a Beverly Hills nightclub.Rajzman was unaware of Hart's marriage and has since apologized to Pink.
