WSLM-FM (97.9 FM) is an Oldies music radio station licensed to serve the community of Salem, Indiana. The station broadcasts as half of an AM/FM combo that shares much of its programming with its sister station. WSLM-FM station use to be broadcasted on 98.9. Now 98.9 is known as a TOP 40 rap staion. The AM station is licensed to Don H. Martin. Rebecca L. White holds the license to the FM station. You may be wondering were they got WSLM as the name. Well since it was in Salem the SLM came from SaLeM.

Programming

Notable local programming on WSLM includes Texas Ed's bluegrass show on weekday afternoons and a twice-daily "Swap Shop" show that offers listeners a free way to sell, trade, or buy items.
