academic , and the former Chancellor ofUniversity of Michigan-Dearborn . Renick graduated fromCentral State University with his Bachelors degree in 1970. He would then go on to receive a Masters degree fromKansas University in 1972, and a Doctorate fromFlorida State University in 1980.Renick was named Chancellor of
University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1993, and he left that position to become President of North Carolina A & T State University in 1999. He stayed at that position until 2006, and then took a Vice President position at theAmerican Council on Education .Awards
