Unlike traditional musical projects, Dimension Zero originated in 1992 as an online distributor for graphical/musical computer demo's created by groups likeFuture Crew ,ACiD , andThe Humble Guys . Monty Singleton, theSysOp of Dimension Zero was fascinated by the possibilities of what could be created on a personal computer and began experimenting with electronically generated music.Dimension Zero's first worldwide success came from the single, "Live in Excess (Excess Is Best)", hitting
