The Snowman is the name of a supervillain in Batman comics; his real name being Klaus Kristin.

The Snowman first appeared in Batman #337. Klaus Kristin is the hybrid son of a male yeti and a human woman. He came to Gotham City to freeze it only to run afoul of Batman.

In Detective Comics #522, Batman later went to Tibet to capture the Snowman only to battle him and his father. The Snowman presumably perished in the fight.

Other Media

The Snowman appeared in "Justice League Adventures" Issue #12. The Snowman, Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold, Killer Frost, Minister Blizzard, Icicle, Cryonic Man, and Polar Lord (General Eklu of the planet Tharr, homeworld of Polar Boy) formed the Cold Warriors. The group attempted a hostile takeover of a small African nation, and were defeated by the Justice League.

An unlockable minor playable character in "" named "yeti" bears a striking resemblance to and may be the Snowman.
