Australian Quarterly

Australian Quarterly

"Australian Quarterly" is an independent political science journal, published in Australia six times a year and dealing with a wide range of economic, political and social issues. The journal was established in 1929 and as such it is Australia's longest running political science journal. Since its establishment, the journal has published a wide range of leading Australian writers and political scientists. The journal is published by the Australian Institute of Policy and Science, formerly known as the Australian Institute for Political Science, and located in Sydney, Australia. The journal itself has also undergone some name changes, being for some time known as "AQ: Journal of Contemporary Analysis" and now sometimes called "AQ: Australian Quarterly". The journal is listed as a core journal with the Worldwide Political Science Abstracts database, and is available on-line through most university libraries.
