"Calliostoma pellucidum haurakiensis" is a subspecies of medium-sized sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc. Some authors have placed this genus in the family Calliostomatidae, other malacologists have left it in the family Trochidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to the Hauraki Gulf in the North Island of New Zealand.

hell description

The shell is of light build and pale coloration, the brown blotches indistinct. The spire outlines are straight and the periphery rather sharply subangled.

The shell height is up to 39 mm, and the width is up to 40.5 mm.
