Alem Gena (Amharic: ዓለም ገና "`ālem gennā", "Earthly heaven") is a town in central Ethiopia. Located in the Mirab Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a longitude and latitude of coord|8|55|N|38|39|E with an elevation of 2369 meters above sea level.

Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Alem Gena has an estimated total population of 8,317, of whom 4,051 were males and 4,266 were females.
