Richard Armstrong "Dickie" Dale (21 March 1896 – ca. 1970) was an English professional footballer who played as a wing half. Born in Willington, County Durham, Dale played 146 games in the First Division of the Football League for Birmingham before moving on to West Bromwich Albion and Tranmere Rovers. He finished his career back in his native north-east of England, in non-League football with Crook Town and Tow Law Town. He died at the age of about 74.
