Zolotov’s dynasty

The Zolotov is a famous family of Chuvashia, who are natives of Alikovsky District, Seener village.

Family’s etymology and history

Vasiliy Gordeyev was at his ancestral home in Seener in summer. He gathered his relatives and gave a historical speech:

«… My dear friends! Our family grows permanently. We have Gordejevs, Vasiljevs, Nikolaevs and others. A new man’s and woman’s twigs of family are appearing. We should better indicate our relative links and strengthen cooperation’s, that’s why we need to nominate common family. It seems me, let this family shall Zolotov …»
