"Calliostoma pellucidum spirata" is a subspecies of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc. Some authors have placed this genus in the family Calliostomatidae, the "Calliostoma" top snails, but most malacologists prefer to leave it in the family Trochidae, the top snails.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to the northern North Island of New Zealand.

hell description

The shell of this subspecies has the concave upper whorls, sculpture and colour pattern of the typical subspecies "Calliostoma pellucidum pellucidum", but differs in having a flanged peripheral keel.

The shell height is up to 32 mm, and the width is up to 32 mm.
