Agnus Berenato (born Agnus McGlade on December 9, 1956), is the head women's basketball coach at Pittsburgh. Since 2003, she has been at the helm of the women's basketball program. From 1989 to 2003, she served as the head women's basketball coach for the
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets . From 1982 to 1985, she served as the head women's basketball coach at Rider.During her tenure, Pitt has enjoyed it's most successful era in its history. She also led the school to its first ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2005. The Panthers concluded the season at 24-9, including a first round win over James Madison. The Panthers had their first ever ranking in the AP poll that season. She had a 223-209 record at Georgia Tech.
