Fredy Deza

Fredy Deza (born December 11, 1982 in La Romana, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Deza was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Orioles on September 20, by|1999.

Deza has been in the Orioles organization since, never reaching above the Double-A level (which he reached in by|2007).

Deza's contract was purchased on October 23, 2007, protecting him from the Rule 5 Draft.

Deza began by|2008 on the roster of the Triple-A Norfolk Tides of the International League, but he was also on the disabled list until July 7. He did stints with the Aberdeen IronBirds of the Low-A New York-Penn League and the Frederick Keys of the High-A Carolina League before finally making his Triple-A debut on August 15.
