Thomas Strunz (born April 25, 1968 in Duisburg) is a former German footballer player.

Strunz started his professional career playing for his home club MSV Duisburg in the third devision and then played as a midfielder for Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart in Germany's Bundesliga. He was part of the German teams that reached the quarterfinals at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and won the Euro 96.

In his two spells at Bayern, Strunz won five championship medals and two German cups. In 1996 he won the UEFA Cup.

After retiring, Strunz served as assistant coach at VfL Wolfsburg for nearly a year, being fired on December 19, 2005. Together with head coach Holger Fach, who was also fired the same day, he got €2.750.000 as compensation.Fact|date=April 2007
