Carlo Cornara (1605-1673) was an Italian painter of the
Baroque period. He was born inMilan , where he became a pupil ofCamillo Procaccini . He did not produce many works. He painted a St. Benedict for theCertosa of Pavia . One of his pupils was the Italian Jesuit painter Giuseppe Castiglione, who was active in China.References
