Meteor Vineyard is a 22-
acre property located in theCoombsville agricultural area of theNapa Valley AVA . It was established in 1998 by formerAmerica Online Inc. Chairman and Chief ExecutiveBarry M. Schuler and his wife, Tracy Strong Schuler. Meteor Vineyard is located at the southeast end of theNapa Valley , near theSan Francisco Bay .History
Through 2004, Meteor Vineyard’s
grape s were sold in bulk to a handful ofNapa Valley properties including Dyer, Arietta, Etude and Vineyard 29. In 2005, the Schulers entered into a partnership with winemakersDawnine Dyer and Bill Dyer to produce a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottled under the Meteor Vineyard. The team bottled their firstvintage later that year, and the wine was released beginning 2008.
