CAF Champions League 2008

The Confederation of African Football Bureau of InterClubs Committee under the chairmanship of CAF President Issa Hayatou established the fixtures of the MTN CAF Champions League following a meeting held on 4 December 2007.fact|date=September 2008

Matches

Preliminary round

The preliminary round first legs were played on 15-17 February, and the second legs were played on 29 February-2 March 2008.

*Tourbillon FC, Tusker FC are excluded in February 10 2008, so Al-Tahrir and TP Mazembe bye to 1st Round.

**Invincible Eleven withdrawn, so AS Kaloum Star bye to 1st Round.

On 10 February 2008, CAF announced that clubs from the Central African Republic, Kenya, Liberia and Sierra Leone were excluded from the competition for failure to fulfil their financial obligations. Six teams qualified automatically to the first round: ASEC Mimosas, Etoile du Sahel, JS Kabylie, Al Ittihad, Al-Ahly, and Al Hilal.

1/16th Finals

The 1/16th Finals first leg matches were played on 21-23 March and the second legs were played on 4-6 April 2008.
