250cc MGP|2000Olivier Jacque Tech 3 is a
motorcycle racing team currently competing inMotoGP World Championship under the name Yamaha Tech 3 and uses theYamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle. The team was founded by ex-racer Herve Poncharal, engineer Guy Coulon and Bernard Martignac and started racing in 1990 in the 250 cc class, usingHonda andSuzuki motorcycles. In 1999, the team partnered with Yamaha for the factory team and in 2000 their riders,Olivier Jacque andShinya Nakano , placed 1st and 2nd in the 250 cc grand prix championship.
