Komarno (Chassidic Dynasty)

The Chassidic Dynasty of Komarno gegan with Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Kfar Safrin, from where the last name of the rabbis originates.

The first Komarno rebbe was a student of his uncle, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov.

The rebbes of Komarno were very involved in studying and teaching Kabbalah, and wrote many books on esoteric subjects.
