Christian Tamas

Christian Tamas (b. November 13, 1964, Letca, Sălaj) is a Romanian writer, translator, Orientalist, Middle Eastern studies' researcher, and philosopher. He has a B.A. degree in Arabic language and literature (University of Bucharest, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures), a M.A. degree in Lifelong Learning Management (“Al. I. Cuza” University, Iaşi, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences), and a "Magna cum laude" Ph. D. degree in philosophy (“Al. I. Cuza” University, Iaşi, Faculty of Philosophy). He translates from eight foreign languages: Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Irish.
