Norðurturninn

Norðurturninn

Norðurturninn (The north tower), is an office and retail building in Iceland, which is currently under construction. The building is located in downtown Kópavogur next to Smáratorg tower. The building is connected to the shopping mall Smáralind and is also a part of it. Norðurturninn is said to be 15 floors or 62 metres (205 ft) when construction will be completed,[1] but is proposed to be 110 metres high with 28 floors, which will surpass the current tallest building, Smáratorg tower. Construction of the tower has been stopped since the financial crisis in 2008, and uncertainty is when/if the tower will be completed.
