HMS Myrmidon (1900)

HMS "Myrmidon" was one of two Myrmidon class destroyers which served with the Royal Navy. She launched by Palmers on 26 May 1900 and was used in both the Mediterranean and home waters. "Myrmidon" was badly damaged in a collision with the merchant ship "Hamborn" on 26 March, 1917 off Dungeness. Her crew were rescued by HMS Mermaid and SS "Tambour", with the loss of one life.
