Giovanni Enrico Vaymer (1665-1738) was an Italian painter of the
Baroque period. He was born in Genoa, and there became a pupil ofGiovanni Battista Gaulli . He was known as a portrait painter, and was three times summoned to paint the king and royal family atTurin . He was invited to remain at the court, but declined.References
