Yellur is a village in
Udupi District in the state ofKarnataka inIndia .Yellur & its surrounding places are currently being acquired by Nagarjuna Power Corporation to set up a coal-based thermal power station.
Yellur is a very beautiful ,scenic ,picturesque place ; with lush green vegetation and forests,rich crop growing fields ,it happens to be a place that has to be conserved and protected from Industries etc. BUT unfortunately the coming of Nagarjuna plant ...would spoil this place and steal it of its beauty and greenery .
