Founded in 1966 the club play their home games at Stembridge Road. The club, known locally as The Villagers boasts a senior men's team playing in the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Federation league, although for many years the club was a member of the Northern league. The club also has a strong ladies and junior membership.
The club colours have traditionally been orange shirts and black shorts, with the teams currently wearing Errea team wear.
