Imam Taeb Ahmed Muhammad Hasan Husien Ismael (1898 - 1977. Also spelled as "Taaeb") was a Kurdish religious figure of the early 1920's to the mid-1970's. He was also known and cited as being a teacher, religious philosopher, an Imam, as well as an Ulema of the Islamic religion in the Middle east, largely focused in Iraq, and particularly in the North. He was an influential figure by way of his reasoning. He influenced many generations that followed to this day. Many of his students are currently imams in Iraq.

Teachings

As the Qur'an is an Arabic text, many of his philosophical research and teachings were done in Arabic, however, he was fluent in three languages, Kurdish, Arabic, as well as Turkish. He also taught, simplified and expanded many verses and hadiths of the Qur'an in all three languages.
