is a series of text-based adventure games developed and published by

Yoshio Sakamoto . "BS Tantei Club" was broadcast on Satellaview, and is currently unplayable, as Satellaview service has now ended permanently. "Ushiro ni Tatsu Shōjo" was remade for the Nintendo Power in 1998. The two "Famicom Tantei Club" games were released on the Famicom Mini disk system selection series in 2004.Background
The main objective of each game is to solve a murder case by discovering the true killer. A unique part of the series is that each game involves
kaidan , or supernatural forces, and develops as a thriller. In "Kieta Kōkeisha", the theme is revival of the dead, "Ushiro ni Tatsu Shōjo" (which takes place 3 years prior to the events of the first game) involves the ghost of a blood-soaked girl, and "Yuki ni Kieta Kako" delves into anochimusha ghost legend.Recurring characters
;Protagonist:The main character for the two "Famicom Tantei Club" games. He meets Shunsuke Utsugi while searching for his own parents, and becomes an assistant at Utsugi's private detective agency. In "Kieta Kōkeisha", he suffers
amnesia after falling from a cliff, and must search for the killer and his own identity. He does not make an appearance in "BS Tantei Club:Yuki ni Keita Kako".;Ayumi Tachibana (voice actor,Yuko Minaguchi ):The heroine of the two "Famicom Tantei Club" games and the main character of "Yuki ni Kieta Kako". She works as an assistant at the detective agency alongside the protagonist. She was a close friend of the first victim in "Ushiro ni Tatsu Shōjo".;Shunsuke Utsugi (voice actor,Show Hayami ):The chief of the Utsugi detective agency. As a famous detective, he spends much of his time abroad, and only appears at the end of the two later games in the series.References
