The shell is rather small, globosely turbinate, thin, minutely perforate to imperforate.
Coloration is dull purplish-black, and greenish
iridescent within the aperture. Theprotoconch and early whorls are whitish with two spiral pink lines.The maximum shell height is 8 mm, and width 8.5 mm.
