List of Baby Looney Tunes characters

=Bugs Bunny=

When Bugs grows up, he's going to be quick-witted, streetwise, supremely self-aware, and into living the good life. But right now Bugs is just a kid, learning the ideas that will make him a star. Even now he exhibits the same innate spunk and cockiness of his adult self, making him a natural born leader. Although not beyond making mistakes, Bugs tries to be as responsible as he can. After all, he is the oldest. (a running gag in the series is how Bugs keeps claiming that he is the oldest, with another character next claiming that he is only older by two months)

Through Bugs, children learn the values of being a leader, as well as realize that even leaders can make mistakes.

Lola Bunny

The biggest dreamer of the gang, Lola thinks bigger, explorers farther, and figures many things out far before the others. Always trying to prove her mettle, she's often the first to charge in only to find she's a bit beyond her depth. As demonstrative emotionally as she's physically, Lola regularly scales the highest peaks and endures the steepest drops on the roller-coaster ride of childhood.

Lola teaches children the joy of trying new things and doing your best, as well as showing that it's okay if you fail or need to ask for help.

Daffy Duck

Just as his adult self, Daffy wants things his way all the time. Completely self-involved, he's a frequent source of trouble for Bugs and the gang. If there's a mistake to be made or potential for a wrong decision, Daffy is there to make it. In the end, however, he usually learns his lesson. Despite his attitude, he doesn't intend any harm and is really just looking for attention wherever, and however, he can get it.

Children can connect with Daffy through their naturally self-centered mentality, while enabling them to learn the appropriate way to act despite the impulses. They also learn it's okay to make mistakes as they're just part of growing up.

ylvester

Even surrounded by friends, Sylvester is a lost kitten. He is the most skittish and neurotic of the group and is sometimes more self-absorbed than Daffy. He is naturally pessimistic, seeing the potential for doom and danger in all ventures. Sylvester dislikes anything that makes him feel unsafe, such as change or trying something new, and he often feels like he's getting the short end of the stick. As a result he sometimes becomes manipulative to get what he feels he deserves.

Through Sylvester, children can identify with the fear of being out of their element and the desire for attention and avoidance of new things. However, they also learn that with loved ones (family and friends) they'll never fall as hard as they think they're going to. Additionally, children learn it's OK and even healthy to be careful around new and potentially dangerous situations.

Tweety

Representing the simple, pure heart of childhood, Tweety is filled with the optimism of someone who believes that dreams can come true. Sweet, kind and caring, his heart is on the surface. Despite his sunny outlook, he is often self-defeating due to his size, although he often learns that his small stature gives him an advantage over the other kids. Sympathetic and empathic, he tries not to get into arguments and thus often gets caught in the middle. He serves as the translator for Taz's emotional "pre-language".

Contrasting his scared and pessimistic counter-part, Tweety teaches children the benefit of looking on the bright side. He also teaches children that just because they're young and small does not mean they're any less capable of doing anything because of it. Still, they can take a note for the cheery yellow bird and forgo something they're not quite ready for.

Taz

Taz is pure ID. His emotions are full on or full off, whether he's happy, sad, angry, asleep, or hungry. Easily distracted by anything fun, colorful, and tasty, he's simple with a kind heart, exhibiting none of the savageness of his adult counterpart. His speech patterns are limited and garbled, making it difficult to understand him, although the kids (and Granny) don't seem to have too much of a problem.

Taz is the wild child that's in every kid, so it's easy for them to identify with his extreme emotions and one-track mindedness. Children will learn how to control themselves through Taz, as well as embracing their emotions when the need arises.

Melissa

Melissa is bold and bossy, prone to making up tall tales. She has a similar zest for attention that Daffy has, the two alternatively fighting and working together, depending on their mood. Despite her attitude, she's very brave and willing to help her friends. When Melissa talks it sounds like she has a cold.

Melissa teaches children the importance of helping others, as well as the value of honesty.

Petunia

Petunia is a soft-spoken little piglet. She is very generous and curious, the latter sometimes causing her troubles. She has a little trouble speaking her mind, and thus feels left out when the others choose activities.

Petunia teaches children the rewards of generosity and shows them that they must voice their needs and wants in order to be understood.

Marvin

Marvin was a shy little martian. He appears mostly in music videos in-between the two segments that usually comprise an episode; he did, however, appear during the episode "War of the Weirds." [http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2sug2_war-of-the-weirds_fun] Most of the kids thought he was weird; Taz, however, befriended Marvin and helped prove to everyone else that he was "not" weird at all. In fact, Marvin was shown to be very skilled at fixing various broken things, including Bugs's toy rocket. Upon learning the inner good-naturedness of Marvin, Bugs and his friends are ashamed and accept him into their circle. Marvin represents the oddball who is viewed as an outsider and not generally treated kindly.
