CC Metro is actually an island in the There world, although it is currently incomplete. The MyCoke admins are currently in the process of converting the CokeStudios decibels and old furniture into Therebucks (the currency of There and also CC Metro by extension) to use in CC Metro, and should be finished before December 14, 2007. However, only MyCoke members who have logged on between June 1, 2006 and December 5, 2007 will get their items and decibels converted to Therebucks.
Users of CC Metro get free access through the Coca-Cola Premium Membership. It costs nothing to sign up, nothing per month, and has a few standard Premium Membership benefits like usage of Fun Passes above Basic Blue. However, there are a few Premium Membership features not included.
There has been quite a few members from the older versions who are protesting against CC Metro. As shown on
YouTube here: [http://youtube.com/watch?v=lGgr2IidQQw] They plan to make petititons until CC Metro is turned back to CokeStudios.Release Date
CC Metro was officially opened for user usage on Thursday, December 6, 2007 in the evening. At that time, users on MyCoke.com were asked to create CC Metro usernames and virtual avatars and accept the There terms of service.
