Dalin, Chiayi

Dalin (Chinese: 大林鎮; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tōa-nâ) is a township in Chiayi County, Taiwan. It has a population of 34,435 in 10,850 households. To the east is Meishan, to the south Minsyong, and to the north Yunlin County. Dalin TzuChi General Hospital (大林慈濟醫院) and Nanhua University (南華大學) are located here, and National Chung Cheng University (國立中正大學) is nearby, in Minsyong. The Mianchiuag Taiwan Sugar Railways maintains a "Dalin Station."
