The Spikes are a rock band formed in 2005. The group was originally founded in New Zealand by its members, who are Irish. Their debut album, entitled "Madness", was praised by The Irish Times for being "an energetic and stylish album."Fact|date=October 2007 The group has been praised for its energetic live shows.
