Barði Jóhannsson

Barði Jóhannson (born October 10, 1975) commonly known as Barði in Bang Gang is an Icelandic musician, producer, director and singer. Early life

Barði started playing music at a young age, he studied the piano and guitar and had a track on a children's album. He met up with Esther Talia Casey in his teens and she became the lead singer in his most notorious band Bang Gang. He and his Friend Henrik Baldvin Björnsson started the band Bang Gang, making surf music. a few years later Barði was working on a project and took the name. Bang Gang

Bang Gang is the brainchild of prolific singer/songwriter/producer Barði Jóhannson. Bang Gang was formed in 1998.

Merzedes Club

Barði was asked to make three songs for the Eurovision 2008 Preliminary round. One of his three song got to the finals, Ho, ho, ho we say hey, hey, hey performed by Merzedes Club. The group became an instant hit, and have to date released three singles, and one music video.
