Kamatchipuram is a small panjayath which includes villages Azhakapuri, Erakkottaipatty in Theni district,Cumbum valley, India. There is a famous Kaliyamman Temple.

Trading:Once it was famous for cotton trading some of know person for cotton tradin Mr.Ayyappan,Mr.V.Paul Nadar,Mr.Karupieh nadar, Mr.Periaythambi Nadar and well know Mr.Mahalinga Nadar.

Business:And its business depends on near by villages, Compare with other villages it has a good infrasructure and hospitality.
