February 13 ,1953 inČebín ) is a former Czechoslovakia footballer, gold medal winner for Czechoslovakia at the1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He was considered as an allrounder who could play on almost every position on the field.Playing career

Sokol Čebín andKPS Brno . In 1972 he got transferred toDukla Prague . For Dukla he had a total of 292 top league appearances and scored 31 goals. In 1977, 1979 and 1982 he became champion ofCzechoslovakia , in 1981 and 1983 won the national cup. At the end of his career he played forAEK Athens .For the national team of Czechoslovakia Štambachr played a total of 31 matches in which he scored five goals. He was part of the squad at 1976 European Championship (spent all games on the bench), 1980 European Championship and at the
1982 FIFA World Cup . Štambaher was part of the Czechoslovakia team which won gold medals at the1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.References
