"Patelloida" shells are thick, with prominent radial ribs, variously shaped, but mostly flat and broadly ovate, porcellaneous, opaque, predominantly white, but the internal margin and the muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell are usually dark.
The
radula of "Patelloida" has two anterior centrals with broad recurved cusps, two laterals posterior to these on each side, the inner with broad recurved cusps, the outer smaller, and two small marginals on each side.pecies
