Two ships of the French Navy have born the name "Northumberland":

* A captured ship (?)
* "Northumberland", an "Annibal" class 74-gun (1780)

Also, the 70-gun HMS "Northumberland" (1705) was captured and commissioned in the French Navy as "Atlas".
