University of Pennsylvania was "I. Some Duality Theorems II. On the Characters of Certain Compact Abelian Groups" advised byNathan Fine (1956).After that he continued on a research project for theAir Force (1956-58) and joined the faculty atCornell University asassociate professor (1958-63) and since beingprofessor atPurdue University (1963-04).
