H was born in

Rader ] ] He then became Deputy County Treasurer of Clark County in 1878, and moved to Jeffersonville. Four years later he worked as a clerk in the auditor's office for theLouisville and Nashville Railroad . RADER 1859-1904 Obituary ] ] . ] In 1888 he resigned from the railroad to go into real-estate and insurance business for himself in Jeffersonville. In 1898 Thomas Rader defeated Republican incumbentIsaac F. Whitside for mayor of Jeffersonville. ] Rader served as mayor for one term, and was defeated byAbraham Schwaninger in 1902. [Kleber, John E.
