Episode Guide
Episode 1: "Going Ready or Not".
Pixie and Molly have to move from home to attend high school. Despite their intense dislike for one another, their parents have decided they will board together.
Episode 2: "The Arrival"
The problem of being forced to live together compels Pixie and Molly to become unwilling allies.
Episode 3: "Froggy"
It is the first day of school for Pixie and Molly. When Margherite, the daughter of the French teacher arrives, Pixie is quick to be-friend her and Molly is left out in the cold.
Episode 4: " The Best of Enemies"
Poor Molly, not only is she homesick, but she cannot get on with Pixie at all. Molly borrows Captain Jack's horse and heads back home.
Episode 5: " Guiding Hands"
Treated as social outcasts by the school clique, Molly, Pixie and Marguerite decide to join the Girl Guides in an effort to meet new friends.
Episode 6: "The Haunted House"
Mrs Watson fears that her house is haunted. Pixie and Molly decide to spend the night and get to the bottom of the mystery.
Episode 7: " A String of Pearls"
Miss Orrick has entered the school choir in the local singing competition. Molly borrows without permission, one of Aunt Vera's blouses and a pearl necklace.
Episode 8: " The Picnic"
On a picnic excursion with the girls, Aunt Vera's car stops. When she attempts to start it again, Aunt Vera falls and hits her head.
Episode 9: " To See or Not to See"
The girls decide to skip school for the afternoon to attend a matinee of the latest Rudolph Valentino film, but they are spotted by Aunt Vera and Jacques, the French teacher.
Episode 10: " The Barnstormer"
The arrival of a ' barnstorming ' pilot and his mechanic in their tiny plane brings excitement and near disaster to Willsford.
Episode 11: " What's Cooking"
Pixie and Molly have qualified for their Girl Guides' Airwoman's Badge, and are envied by the others in the class.
Episode 12: " Birds, Bees and Rabiits"
A remark about rabbits and 'multiplication' exposes Pixie's lack of knowledge about sexual reproduction.
Episode 13: " Money Troubles"
Sometimes the ' best of enemies ' can become the ' best of allies ' given the right circumstances - and Myrtle provides just what is required to bring Pixie, Molly, Margherite and Louise together.
Episode 14: " The Camp Out"
When the Guides are on a camp out, they relise that Anne, the visiting Patrol leader, has a problem fainting at the sight of blood.
Episode 15: " The Substitute"
Molly's attempt to organise a game of cricket among the girls from school ends up in disaster.
Episode 16: "Creating a New Molly"
The teasing about Molly's boyish haircut upsets her. Pixie and Margherite go for a walk in Melbourne's Chinatown.
Episode 17: " Exam time"
Miss Orrick breaks to the news to the class that the exams are close. Pixie is determined to top the class, while Molly is aware that if she fails she'll have to repeat the year.
Episode 18: " True or False"
The girls in Pixie's and Molly's class are excited when Miss Orrick informs them the end of year shcool entertainment is to be a tableau-vivant.
Episode 19: " The Pageant"
While the rest of the family is delighted with the end of term festivities at the tableau-vivant, Grandma is angry. The girls team up to stop Aunt Vera from marrying Jacques.
Episode 20: " Ending or Beginnings"
When Jimmy goes in search of mistletoe for the Christmas party, he and Freddo are gone far too long. Has something happened to them ?
