Glyn Angell is a British actor.

History

Angell was a member of the award-winning Chichester Festival Youth Theatre (1998 - 2005) for two weeks before he landed two roles: one opposite Simon Callow in "Chimes at Midnight" at the Chichester Festival Theatre, the second in the BBC educational series "Zig Zag". On set he was spotted by his agency, and other directors approached him and cast him in George Farquar's "The Recruiting Officer" and "A String of Pearls".

Voice work

Angell was handpicked by John Mortimer as the perfect voice for the BBC live radio plays "The Summer of a Dormouse" with Joss Ackland, and "The Dark Tower". He also provided the voice of the young Winston Churchill in the BBC-produced documentaries "In the Footsteps of Churchill".

Awards

Angell was awarded two Honours Awards from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1997 and 1999. He also won a worst-dressed award in 2001 for his character Murdoch in "The Ghost Hunter".
