"Build It Up - Tear It Down" is a promo-only single by British big beat artist Fatboy Slim released on his second studio album "You've Come a Long Way, Baby" released in 1999. The single was released only in the United Kingdom and failed to chart there. The song's music video was shot in the Old Concorde in Brighton, England shortly before it was demolished. Whilst various lyric sites list the repetitive lyric of "bounce", some musicologists have asserted that some lyrics have been digitally altered and replaced with "ben elton". Ben Elton being a favourite writer of Fatboy Slim.
