"Puncturella analoga" is a minute species of deepwater keyhole limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc or micromollusk in the family Fissurellidae, the keyhole limpets and slit limpets.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Chatham Rise.

Habitat

This keyhole limpet is found at depths of about 660 m.

hell description

The shell is small, tall conical, very coarsely sculptured with 23 primary ribs, between each of which a secondary one develops towards the margin.

The shell height is up to 2.9 mm, width up to 3.6 mm, and length up to 5 mm.
