Weston Adams (Weston Adams II) is an American politician and diplomat born (September 16, 1938) in Columbia, South Carolina. After graduation from the University of South Carolina and its School of Law, he served as Associate Counsel to the Select Committee on Crime of the U.S. House of Representatives. Adams served on the U.S. National Commission to UNESCO from 1982-1984, and was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Under President Ronald Reagan, Adams served as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Malawi. He also currently serves on the Wilson Council of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
Adams is also a partner in Solar Filmworks and Strongbow Pictures as a film producer, and produced the feature film, "", about Confederate Captain Robert Adams II, his great grandfather.
