MS 21

The MS-21 is a family of short- to medium-range airliners being developed in Russia by United Aircraft Building Corporation (UABC), including Ilyushin, Yakovlev and Tupolev, capable of carrying between 130 and 170 passengers about 5000 km.

The MS-21 family airplanes will perform passengers, luggage and cargo transportation on national and international routes. These airplanes meet the current standards and can successfully compete with their Western analogues in the world market. Design

A medium capacity airliner, the MS-21 is intended to replace the Tupolev Tu-154, and is scheduled to enter service in 2012.
