Emsland Tunxdorf and Nenndorf have their ownSchützenfest , which is yearly celebrated onAscension Day . The hymn of Tunxdorf and Nenndorf is called "Aulkenpott" remembering the "Aulken", a kind of dwarves, which reputedly lived in former times in Tunxdorf according to the sage.
