Garth Hill College

Garth Hill College (also Garth Hill and Garth) is a technology college in Bracknell, England. It was formed in 1956, the principal being Mr James Bourton. Garth Hill College is on the same site as Wick Hill Centre, a college linked with Garth.

The current principal is Mr Keith Grainger who took over from Mr Stan Turner in September 2007. The percentage of students gaining 5 or more A*-C grades have risen steadily over the last six years. The figures are 65% in 2008, 59% in 2007, 55% in 2006, 43% in 2005, 45% in 2004, 33% in 2003 and 30% in 2002.

Garth Hill College is undergoing a whole new re-build which is due to be completed in 2010 - the project is going to cost over thirty-two million pounds. Garth Hill College will move into brand new buildings in May 2010, on the present site off Sandy Lane. The current buildings will be demolished, making space for new sports grounds.
