Mr. David Ruhe received a
Bachelor of Science fromMichigan State College in 1936, aMaster of Science in 1937, and anMedical Doctor degree fromTemple University in 1941, where he was awarded an honoraryDoctor of Sciences degree in 1956. After studies he began as an intern atUnited States Public Health Service in 1941 and advanced to become seniorsurgeon in 1956. He served on theNational Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States from 1963 to 1968, when he was elected to the Universal House of Justice, replacing the lateLutfu'lláh Hakím .Bibliography
