London Buses route 331 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, United Kingdom. The service is currently contracted to First London.

History

This route began on 1 October 1994, it replaced the withdrawn section of route U1 Ruislip & Harefield and withdrawn route 348 between Northwood & Uxbridge. It was operated by LDT the Shires (Garston).

Route 331 was transferred to Centrewest's Uxbridge Garage in 1998. Brand new Dennis Dart SLF/Marshall Capitals were bought to convert the route into low-floor in 2003.

In March and April 2008, a batch of new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Darts were bought to run the route. These were on loan and were due to be given to First London's Dagenham garage for route 498 on 28th June 2008. Further brand new Enviro200 Darts were due to take their place on the 5th July 2008 when the 331's contract is renewed.
